Prayer
Prayer plays a vital role in this current Church age and in the Kingdom of God overall. Jesus Christ taught us to pray by doing so Himself. He also entreated His disciples to do the same. In prayer we can bring our needs and the needs of others before Him, cast our burdens upon Him, leaving our cares at His feet, and then worshiping the Lord for His answers. We recognize prayer is very important and have committed our church to such with the following prayer groups:
Weekly
Join our church's "prayer warriors" as we gather for a half hour of concerted and fervent prayer on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. This prayer time is prior to our mid-week service.
Bi-monthly
The men of the church gather for prayer on the first and third Saturdays of each month (with an occasional exception) at 9:00 AM, with a men's prayer breakfast once per quarter starting at 8:00 AM. Locations for the prayer breakfast vary.
Monthly
The ladies of the church usually gather the first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM for Ladies Night. During this time, the Daughter's of Zion prayer group pray for the school-aged children of the church.
The youth department meets for prayer the 3rd Friday evening of every month at 7:00 PM; we bring our needs before Him, pray for our youth, this community and the local church!
During our weekly services, those leading the services make prayer requests known; the ministers of the church pray for sick who come forward for anointed prayer.
